Let me tell a story when I was an Angel. For two decades I did workshops as an artist with the Inner city Angels in Toronto, sometimes seeing 300 children a week. I did storytelling, painting, collage and even helping them create their own book. I often story told with media presentation of the story on a large screen for 150 children at a time. I designed many programs some with workshops in the classroom in collaboration with the teachers. I was one of the first Angels in the program. I was fortunate to also do programs thru the Ontario Arts Council and Canada Council Reading Program. Having this work made it possible for me to continue my painting and writing of my books.

My twin Donna Yerxa made puppets of my Journey to Dodoland characters and I would sometimes use them in my program. She was very talented and created Alphabet Picture Books on Nature themes and also Design Themes. To me she was an Angel and still is.. in fact I have seen here in Dreams as the Angel Crysanthe MUM.

I often story told with media presentation of the story on a large screen for 150 children at a time. Dale Bertrand started to do programs with the Inner City Angels part-time and would often be asked to come to make Medicine Wheels with the children, make mobiles or help them paint a mural with a theme. Watching him work with the kids he was an Angel.

There are many Angels around. You can find them in your life if you look. Some in the real life people around us in the world that help us and sometimes in mythology and dreams. The question is HAVE YOU MET AN ANGEL?
